Fairy & Fantasy Recital 2025

Date: April 27th, 2024

Time: 4:30-6:30PMTheme: Fairies and Fantasy ThemeAll students are required to come at least 10 minutes early to get seated and be prepared. We will be starting at 4:30 and if you arrive later your child may not be able to get seated in time.

Dress code: We encourage our performers—and audience members—to dress in magical, fantasy-inspired attire! Here are some ideas for inspiration:

Girls:

• Flowing fairy dresses or enchanted gowns

• Floral crowns, wings, or shimmering capes

• Glitter, sparkles, and whimsical accessories

Boys:

• Wizard robes, elf cloaks, or medieval tunics

• Crown, staff, or fantasy-inspired hats

• Earthy tones, mystical patterns, or shining armor

Otherwise, semi-formal wear (what you would wear to Sunday church).What to wear: dresses, collared shirts, dress pants, dress shoesWhat to NOT wear: casual shirts, jeans, leggings, flip flops, crop tops, etc.Recital fees: $25 per student due by February 29th (only by the students who are performing). If you have a card on file for auto-payments and submit the form above confirming your child's attendance, your card on file will be billed $25 automatically on February 29th. If you're not set up on auto-pay or don't have a card on file, please submit the recital fee included with your payment for March.There won't be any refunds given out if the student is unable to attend. Recital fees cover the costs of renting the venue, refreshments, awards, and music given to the students.

During the recital: The students each will be performing 1-2 themed songs/pieces memorized. We will be prioritizing quality over quantity when it comes to the student's performances. We make sure the student can perfect their first piece (memorized) before starting a second one.After everyone is done performing, we will be taking a group photo together and then I will be handing out awards and goodies to the students! We require that students performing to stay until the end of the recital. That way the performers at the end have the same audience as the beginning.For those who are unable to attend live (friends or family out of state), we will be recording the entire performance and upload the footage on YouTube as a private video to rewatch or send!
