Alexa Madison is the founder and owner of Alexa’s Piano Lessons, with more than nine years of experience as a private and group piano teacher. Known for her creative and student-focused teaching methods, Alexa has taught hundreds of students and delivered thousands of lessons. She is passionate about creating fun and interactive lessons that inspire students to explore their creativity and develop their musical skills, no matter their starting level.

How do the kids learn at their own pace in a piano group setting?
Our weekly group piano lessons combine individual attention with engaging group activities. Every student has their own keyboard and receives personalized instruction as the teacher rotates between students, offering direct feedback through headphones. From the very first lesson, students begin reading music on the staff and learning foundational skills at their own pace.
Our music lab room has many different activities with a lesson plan including guided practice, music theory games, worksheets, composition, improvisation, music listening, etc. Students are assigned what to do in the lab room after their practice time and are invited to work independently or with their lab partner. The activities are a fun alternative to allowing students to music theory in an effective way.
